Life Update

So this post is extremely special because I'm finally able to announce that I got a new job and started it this past Wednesday!! This is going to be my first "big girl" job. I waited so long to spill the beans because it's literally a dream job and I just wanted to make sure that everything would pan out. I'm going to be working with Navaco Industries as their social media person (I don't know what my exact title is because it covers kinda a wide scope of tasks) but basically I'll be posting on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, starting a new mens blog and anything else that may come about in the future. I'll also be looking at new ways to market their brands as well as some other things but I don't want to share everything just yet! All you need to know is I'm so excited to start this new adventure! I have my own little cubicle which my mom and I started shopping for yesterday so I'm going to share the few things I got yesterday as well as my outfit post. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Happy Sunday! (all details at end)

P.S. If you like the Abercrombie & Fitch perfume, Fierce, aka the one that makes their store smell like it does then I would highly recommend the Mahogany Teakwood candle from Bath and Body (shown below). We are talking the closest match I've ever smelled in my life! I wanted to get a lotion but they only had the Mahogany Woods (a men's lotion) but it still smells delicious.

*Does anyone else enjoy men's colognes and fragrances like a million times more than women's or is it just me??

Braided Crown Pictorial

So as you guys have probably noticed, I've been completed obsessed with braids. It's all because of this girl I follow, Amber Fillerup Clark, who has the most amazing hair & blog. Literally all day I am sitting at work or while driving thinking of different hairstyles I can do while incorporating braids. So today before work I took my first stab at a pictorial and a braided crown. I'm a little disappointed because either I didn't section off enough hair or my hair isn't long enough to make a nice think crown but I still think it turned out cute and was worth a shot!

Relatively easy to follow right?
